Lindsy Stumpenhorst

I am a 3-5 connected principal in a rural community two hours west of Chicago. I expect my students and teachers to work hard, but I don’t expect them to do it alone.

I have an 10yr old boy who is way more witty than me, and a 7yr old daughter who is pretty much my mini-me…except for the sass..no idea where she gets that. I have the most supportive husband, who is practical and confident…we are nothing alike.

My greatest asset is also my greatest weakness (depending on your point of view)…

A good teacher is like a candle — it consumes itself to light the way for others. ~Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

This career I have chosen is consuming, and is not a path for the faint of heart, but I love it.

My mind can be compared to  “House of Pain” in their one hit wonder “Jump Around”. If you thought my introduction was hard to follow…just wait. It gets worse.

  1. Lindsy, you have no idea just how many people you inspire. You are so loved by so many, you are a shining star and you are creating more shining stars as you help your staff to teach and educate other people’s children as well as your own. Sterling School is so lucky to have you as their principal and I am so proud to call myself your Aunt! Much love! ❤
